North Huddersfield trust school has proudly celebrated the achievements and dedication of both current and former students at its annual Prize-Giving Evening, hosted at the Huddersfield Town Hall. The highly anticipated event brought the school and wider community together, to recognise the exceptional efforts of the young people being honoured.
The event was attended by students, families and representatives from the schools Board of Trustees, who graciously sponsored the event. Based locally, these partners include community organisations, educational institutions, sporting foundations, and globally recognised companies in science and technology.
It’s lovely to invite the community to the town hall, it’s lovely to see the parents and carers coming out and it’s just wonderful that staff can support students in being given the awards they so truly deserve.
Andrew Fell – Headteacher
The evening’s awards were enriched by a series of outstanding performances and speeches from across the school community. The event opened with a rousing performance from the school choir, followed by an inspiring address from School President Obalouwa Ayo-Makinde. Guests were then treated to a breath-taking dance performance by talented Year 8 student Mason Clegg, with the celebrations further elevated by a stunning contribution from our community choir.
Prize-Giving was incredible — not just for me, but for everyone who got rewarded for what they’ve achieved. The vibe all night was honestly magical.
Obalouwa Ayo-Makinde – School President
Students beamed with pride as they received their awards, cheered on enthusiastically by parents, families, friends, and the wider school community. It was a truly memorable celebration, marking one of the highlights of the academic year for students, staff, and guests alike.
North Huddersfield Trust School would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all Trust partners and sponsors. Your support makes events like this possible, and your commitment to our students’ success is invaluable.
It’s what North Huddersfield trust school does best, it’s not just a school, it’s a community that really considers the young people in its care.
