In line with the pay policy which establishes 31st October as the deadline for confirmation of any pay increases, appraisal reviews need to be completed by Monday 30th September. This is in order for them to be processed and presented to Governors so that salaries can be confirmed and pay increments ratified. Please ensure reviews are signed off through SIMS with appropriate comments and, where necessary, indication of evidence. For teaching staff, If evidence from observations is needed, please arrange as soon as possible.
There will be further guidance on the setting of targets for the next cycle in due course. Separating the review and the target setting will help ensure the quality of each of these processes; it will also allow further discussions about the focus for targets and how these link to the whole school priorities.
