Northern College offers (often free) residential short courses, with childcare, focussing on adults who are without formal qualifications and are looking to get back into learning and or employment. The college also offers training for community and voluntary groups. If you are interested in any of the courses on offer but are unsure of how to get started, speak with one of the staff at your school and they can help to point you in the right direction.
Kirklees College
Kirklees College offer community based courses in a broad range of subjects. If you are in receipt of benefits, many of these courses are free. Courses are run at Northfield Hall and / or schools across the hub provided that there are at least 10 attendees. Take a look and let your school know if anything takes your interest.
